The Heron Cove Concerts is a free performance series that relies on public and private sponsorships and grants. Heron Cove Concerts operates under the auspices of The Lightwing Institute in the Berkshires, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization founded in 1993 to develop creative venues in film, television and internet. In 2005, live performance was added.

The Heron Cove Twilight Concerts offer an eclectic platform, featuring many fine local and regional musicians, who enjoy performing in the heart of our beautiful Berkshires, and the intimate atmosphere of Heron Cove. Adjacent to the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail, Heron Cove features a boat ramp, and compound on the lake shore that can hold approximately 250 - 300 people. While there is parking at and near the Cove; more parking is available. Some of our audiences enjoy the music from their kayaks and canoes, or fish - with a view of the stage. The boat ramp is reserved for parking related to performance days,or other private events, as well as loading and unloading of equipment (boat trailers are not able to park at the ramp on concert days, but small handcraft can be carried in on foot).
